It is not difficult to place web videos on a web page. With SocuSoft Web Video Player, you will be able to create your own web videos with embedded players. Thanks to the interface's simple design, this task can be accomplished even by unskilled users.

The setup file is almost 22 Mb large, which may take some time to download with a slower Internet connection. The good news is that a converter application is included in the package, so your patience will be rewarded.

There are three steps to go through before publishing a video. First, you need to load a video, in FLV format, from your hard drive, then select a player skin and finally, click a button to publish. These actions are performed under separate tabs on the interface, without any difficulties. One or more videos can be loaded by clicking an Add button and selecting them in an Open window. They will be displayed in a list, along with their basic information, like titles, sizes, duration, used codecs and others. You may edit their titles, add descriptions and URLs and associate different thumbnail images.

A player skin can be selected under the second tab. A preview is available in the central region of the interface and a list of skins can be found in a column, on the right side. They are organized in various categories, which can be selected in a drop menu. After selecting a skin, you may customize numerous aspects, regarding its appearance and thumbnail.

The Publish tab is where you can name your project and select the output path. After clicking the Publish Now button, under the same tab, the software will create a series of folders, HTML, video and audio files, which you can upload to your web page. The process will take only a few seconds. When it is done, new options will be placed at your disposal, to open the output folder or to view the video, with its new player, in your default browser.

As mentioned before, SocuSoft Web Video Player comes with a converter as well. If your videos are not in FLV format, you can use this tool to convert them immediately, using various encoding methods.

Pros

The application's functions are very easy to use. It comes with a large collection of player skins, which can be customized. The necessary files to upload the embedded video will be created and organized almost instantly.

Cons

When using the trial version, a watermark will be placed over the player. Fortunately, it is small and it is placed in a corner. With SocuSoft Web Video Player, it will take only a few seconds to create web videos, with their own embedded players.
